Connecting your contacts from other email providers (like Yahoo, Outlook, AOL, etc.) to your Google Account helps Chasqui get a complete picture of your network. Follow these steps to import your contacts into Google.

Other Email Providers

Sign into Gmail: Using a web browser on your computer, navigate to mail.google.com and sign into the Google Account you use with Chasqui.
Access Settings: Click on the Settings gear icon in the top-right corner, then click See all settings.
Go to Accounts and Import: In the settings menu, select the Accounts and Import tab.
Start the Import: Look for the "Import mail and contacts" option and click on Import from another address. A pop-up window will appear to guide you through the process.
Enter Your Email: In the first pop-up screen, enter the email address of the account you want to import contacts from (e.g., yourname@yahoo.com) and click Continue.
Grant Permission: The next screen will prompt you to sign into your other email account. This process is handled by a secure service called ShuttleCloud. Sign in and grant permission for Google to access your account data.
Choose What to Import: After granting access, you will see a screen with import options. Make sure to select Import contacts. You can choose to import mail as well, or deselect it if you only want contacts.
Finalize the Import: Click Start import to begin the process. Google will start importing your contacts in the background. It may take some time to complete depending on the number of contacts.

Syncing iPhone Contacts with Google

Where are my iPhone contacts stored?

On your phone, open Contacts and in the top left corner click on Lists, there you will see the breakdown of your contacts by provider (e.g. Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) or on your iPhone. If the majority of your contacts are on a provider, follow the steps above to sync them. If the majority of your contacts are on your iPhone, follow the steps below.

Syncing

To sync iPhone contacts with Google Contacts, add your Google Account to your iPhone's Contacts app and enable sync for Contacts. This will allow your contacts to be stored and updated across your Google and iPhone devices.

Open Settings: On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
Go to Contacts: Scroll down and tap on "Contacts".
Add an Account: Tap on "Accounts" and then "Add Account".
Select Google: Choose "Google" from the list of available accounts.
Sign in: Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to your Google Account.
Enable Contacts: In the Google Account settings, ensure that "Contacts" is toggled on.
Save: Tap "Save".
Open Contacts app: Open the Contacts app on your iPhone to view your Google Contacts.
Set Default Account: In the Settings app, under Contacts scroll down to see the Default Account option. Tap on it and select Google to have all new iPhone contacts sync to Google.

This will automatically sync your contacts with Google Contacts, allowing you to access and manage your contact list across both your iPhone and Google services.
